I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!
We ended up hosting this year with both sets of grandparents. This time, I ended up ordering a smoked turkey from PCC. All I had to do was heat it up a few hours before dinner. You can simply order it online on their website. PCC converted their cooking classroom to turkey pickup room. The package directions said heat for 2 hours, but actually you need to heat it for 3 hours. They offer one size to make things easy — 13 – 15 lb. turkey. IT carved easily and it was moist and juicy. I was too lazy to save the carcass to make into turkey noodle soup this time. I actually hate having left overs so I packed a plate for everyone to take home. I wanted the kitchen cleaned up and ready for fresh new food. There were a lot to be thankful this year, mostly health of all family members.
